Article on RBA interest rates in 2015 from Bill Evans.  He has predicted rate cuts next year, with the rapidly downgraded economic forecasts and failure of Govt to action budget measures with everything being blocked in the Senate.  Seems a little extreme to see two rate cuts but will be an interesting 2015!  The unemployment rate will probably be the deciding factor for the RBA.  For those who fixed this year mostly fixed at a rate well below their current variable rate anyway so a few rate cuts would bring them out even, probably still ahead and less risk long term.   Still a good time to look at reviewing the portfolio as variable and fixed rates are very competitive at the moment.
